Fashion Lee Valley High-Speed Steel Standard Parting Tools

Standard rectangular-section parting tools are used for parting off work between centers.

Made by Henry Taylor, they are available in two sizes: 1/8″ wide by 1/2″ deep with a 4 3/4″ blade (11 3/4″ long overall) for light work; or 1/8″ wide by 3/4″ deep with a 6 3/4″ blade (16 1/4″ long overall) for general-purpose use.
