The GS7 holder consists of an 8.35″ × 2.83″ (212mm × 72mm) base that supports a stack of layered float glass. SBR jaws hold the stones in place against the stack, while rubber feet at each corner of the base keep the holder from moving. The resulting height of the stone surface is 1.85″ (47mm) above the work surface – a comfortable clearance height for lapping handled edge tools.
