Hot Lee Valley Henry Taylor 60° Straight Parting Tools

Our professional carving tools are made by the firm Henry Taylor Tools Ltd. of Sheffield. They are hand forged, which results in a fine-grained steel that holds an edge well and will last a lifetime if given normal care. They have brass ferrules and select beech handles. Due to the hand forging, sizes are nominal and shapes may vary slightly. They come with a factory grind and require sharpening and final honing.

These parting tools have a V cutting shape and are used for refinishing corners, cutting sharp-edged grooves and for outlining patterns.
